Lots of latte options, but prep was poor. Tasty though.
Decent Matcha, stuck between 3-4, did all the right things, matcha may have been a little old
This is the most bizarre prep I have seen. They have pre-made mixes with sweet or unsweet, which means you can't adjust. They pour just enough boiling water to make a sludge/paste and slowly whisk it around like a dough, and then drip it into the drink at the end. Tasted awful, and one of the most expensive I have gotten.
Pre-made looked old, just used milk for temperature, won't go back. Specially disappointed because it looks like they put on a premium vibe, and do a good quality coffee
The pre-made mix was disappointing, the temperature was correct because they just used the steam milk temperature. Not worth it
Kedsy served me the perfect matcha. I almost skipped going here, this is a legit tea house, and it seems like matcha lattes are almost beneath them from the westernized sweet drinks we take, but what they made was perfect. If you want a real Matcha experience, look no further.
Surprisingly tasty, defaults to sweet, a little bit of a bitter after taste. They get the temperature right because they just use the steamed milk, no hot water
Nice people, bitter matcha. Kind of what you expect from 150 person town
Desperate for a Matcha. Clumps in it, better color than I expected
I got iced but they used hot water, I also ordered half sweet but it's Hella sweet.
While I marked temperature as boiling despite getting an iced, it's because I saw them pour 206 degree water into the chasen. Likewise, they added a strong serving of honey without giving options for sweetness
This had a lot of promise as it seems they do everything right, but the color of the matcha seemed a bit old and the taste faint
He at dose of honey, they shake it in a bottle by hand. Not the worst, but definitely not the best.
Made in a blender, too hot, they use an ample dose of honey by default to cover the bitterness
Not hand whisked, not pre-made. I think they boiled the matcha but then cooled it down. Not the matcha latte I was looking for
A bit too sweet for me, their standard is a mix of ceremonial and non ceremonial, I wish I had done their more expensive ceremonial only version
Amazing tea house, I usually just get a straight hot matcha but I am a sucker for black sesame, so it was a black sesame hot matcha. Delicious, favorite matcha spot in SF so far.
Probably my favorite matcha in east bay? It's light and smooth, beautifully crafted
The milk didn't seen like it was steamed into microbubbles, so missing the smooth latte feel. Slightly more butter than I would expect
Exceptional Matcha -- finally found a place! Pre/post-workout at Pac Pipe is great
